“Blog” is an abbreviated form of “weblog”, used to describe web sites that maintain an ongoing chronicle of information with recent entry ( also called post ) appearing first.
Blogger is a blog-publishing service that allows multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries. A user can have up to 100 blogs per account. Google provides blogger with a subdomain of blogspot.com.
The blogging platform provided by google is called BlogSpot and sometimes called as “Blogger”.

Blogger : - A person who writes contents for a blog.
Blogosphere: - The online community of blogs and bloggers.
Blogroll: - A blogger’s list of links to other blogs.
Post: - A post is an article within a blog. A post can be on any topic, and it’s the collection of posts that form the basis of a blog.
Widgets : - They are most frequently used to customize a blog sidebars. Each widget or represents an area of content, where bloggers can populate with text, links, Gadgets, images, ads and more. In blogger, placement of widget in the sidebar can be handled by dragging-and-dropping.
