How to search on google . . . !
Ø To find word/phrase definitions, simply use the “define: “command.
Search Example: define: information
Ø Press “Crtl + F” - Search a keyword in a webpage that you open.
Ø To see all the places marked on google map
First get to the area and the type an asterisk ‘ * ’ symbol in the search bar and hit search. The result will show you every single place Google knows about in that map.
Ø “What is + keyword “will give you the full definition about the keyword.
Ø The AROUND(n) operator will return to the users the results that are limited with two primary keywords and ‘ n ‘ the numbers of limited words.
Syntax: Keyword 1 + AROUND (n) + Keyword 2
For example, when you search Google as “India AROUND (5) Delhi “, will display all websites containing the two keywords at both sides with proximity of 5 words.
Ø “ ~ Keywords ”: the ‘ ~ ‘will search for the synonyms for the provided keyword.
Ø “ – “will negate unnecessary words or phrases.
Example search : “impound marketing –advertising”
Ø While using an operator in search, don’t add any space between the operator and the query.
Site:testsite.com will work, but site: testsite.com will not
Ø Search the phrases within “ “.
Example search : “cloud computing”
Ø To search a particular content in a specific site :-
“cloud computing” site: www.wikipedia.com
Ø To find time search time and city/country
Example: “time india”
