Nokia resurrects with its new N1 Tablet for $249

At the Slush conference in Helsinki today, Nokia unvieled its new tablet, the N1. The part of Nokia that did not get sold off to Microsoft launched the N1 table with a 7.9 inch (~324ppi pixel density) screen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It comes with 32 GB internal memory and 2 GB of RAM.

               

The N1 is a iPad-like tablet with aluminium shell runs on the Android 5 Lollipop OS is its first ever Android tablet. It has got 8 MP of rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. It comes with 64 bit Intel Atom z3580 chipset with Quad-core 2.3 GHz CPU and PowerVR G6430 GPU. It has a Non-removable Li-ion 5300 mAh battery.

This is the first device announced by the company since the sale of its devices and services business to Microsoft for over $ 7 billion. Nokia now can’t make smartphones or handsets until January 2016, but it is allowed to make other devices, like Tablets, clearly.

It will be first sold in China for $249.
