With the windows phone 8 or 8.1, now it is easy to record your screen. The windows phone 8 or 8.1 has a feature called ‘Project My Screen’. Windows 8.1 comes with this feature preinstalled in the settings.
The Project My Screen enables you to project or share your windows phone screen with your PC. From the PC you can record your phone screen.
To do this:
Preconditions:

You should have Project My Screen feature in
your phone.

Install Project My Screen app on your PC.
To record:
1.
Connect your phone to PC.
2.
Before connecting the phone, open the Project My
Screen app.
3.
Now you will be asked ‘Allow screen projection’,
in the windows phone display.
4.
Tap yes.
You will be able to see your Lumia projected onto your PC display.
Now to record your PC screen you can use a desktop screen recorder like Camstudio or so.
Camstudio is a easy to use, free, open source screen recorder program. With camstudio you can record entire desktop, single window, or even specific parts of your screen (check “Region” settings of camstudio).
Select the region, hit record, and navigate back to the
Project My Screen app on your PC. As you interact with your phone, it’ll be
displayed and recorded on your PC. You have recording option such as AVI, MP4
or SWF. Select your option from “video option” settings.
This will do it for you and you can share your recording
with your friends, family or anywhere you see fit.
